Services / API, Automation & AI Integration

API integration services for systems that don't talk to each other

Your store, CRM, accounting software, and fulfillment provider each work fine alone. We build the connections that make them work as one business — plus the automation and AI steps that remove the manual work in between. Reliably, with error handling, not a pile of brittle scripts.

Sound familiar?

The problems we build for

  • Someone on your team spends hours every week copying data between systems that both have APIs.

  • Orders arrive in one place, get fulfilled from another, and are invoiced in a third — and the three never quite agree.

  • You bought an off-the-shelf connector and hit its ceiling: the one field you need mapped is the one it doesn't support.

  • A no-code automation held things together until volume grew; now it silently drops records and nobody notices until a customer calls.

  • Every new tool you adopt adds another island. The business runs on exports, imports, and hope.

What we deliver

The work, concretely

E-commerce integrations

Shopify and WooCommerce connected to the systems around them: ERPs, inventory management, 3PLs and shipping carriers, marketplaces, and product-data sources.

  • Real-time inventory and price sync
  • Order flow into fulfillment and back (tracking, status)
  • Catalog feeds in and out — marketplaces, PIM, suppliers

AI & automation in real workflows

The repetitive text work your team does by hand — reading supplier emails, drafting product content, triaging support — turned into reliable workflow steps, engineered with review gates and cost controls rather than bolted on as a demo.

  • Stop retyping supplier emails and invoices: AI extraction with a human review step
  • Product and catalog content generated inside guardrails you set
  • Claude / OpenAI API integration with cost and quality monitoring built in

CRM & sales integrations

Customers, orders, and behavior flowing into HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or Pipedrive — so sales and support see the whole picture without asking anyone to export a CSV.

  • Two-way contact and deal sync with clear ownership rules
  • Order and lifecycle events pushed where sales lives
  • Deduplication and field-mapping logic that survives real data

Accounting & payments

Orders, refunds, fees, and payouts reconciled into Xero, QuickBooks, or your ledger of choice — the integration your accountant has been asking for.

  • Invoice and payment sync with correct tax treatment
  • Payout reconciliation against orders and fees
  • Stripe, PayPal, and platform payment flows unified

Marketing & communication

Email platforms, SMS, and messaging tools fed by real behavioral events — signups, purchases, abandonment — instead of stale list imports.

  • Event-driven flows into Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar
  • Clean audience sync with consent respected
  • Transactional email and notification plumbing

Custom APIs, webhooks & automation

When systems don't have a connector — or you need one system of record exposing data to many consumers — we design and build the API layer itself.

  • Custom REST/GraphQL APIs with authentication and documentation
  • Webhook receivers with retries, queues, and idempotency
  • Scheduled jobs and workflow automation with an audit trail

In practice

What businesses actually automate

Not technology for its own sake — the recurring, manual work that quietly eats staff hours. If one of these sounds like your week, it's automatable.

  1. Supplier emails become system entries

Order confirmations, invoices, and price updates arrive by email; the contents end up in your ERP or accounting system without anyone retyping them — uncertain documents queue for one-click human review.

  2. Store and accounting stop disagreeing

Orders, refunds, and payouts reconcile themselves into your books with correct tax treatment, instead of consuming someone's month-end.

  3. Support tickets arrive pre-drafted

Incoming customer messages are triaged by topic and urgency, with a suggested reply drafted for your team to approve, edit, or discard.

  4. Leads enrich and follow up themselves

New inquiries are looked up, scored, and routed, with context attached — so sales opens a brief, not a bare email address.

  5. Reports that write themselves

The weekly numbers your team assembles by hand — sales, stock, campaign results — generated and delivered on schedule from the systems that already hold them.

  6. Catalog content at volume, with review

Product descriptions and variants drafted against your tone rules, queued for human approval — volume without the generic AI voice.

How we approach it

API, Automation & AI Integration the way we practice it

Boring reliability over clever demos

An integration is judged at 3 a.m. on Black Friday, not in the demo. Everything we ship has retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, and logging — because APIs fail, and the integration's job is to fail loudly and recover cleanly.

One system of record per fact

Most integration pain comes from two systems both believing they own the truth. Before writing code, we agree which system owns each piece of data and make the flows one-directional wherever possible.

Build vs. buy, answered honestly

If an off-the-shelf connector genuinely covers your case, we'll tell you to buy it — it's cheaper and we'd rather keep your trust than your invoice. Custom work is for when your requirements outgrow the checkbox features.

Observable by non-developers

Every integration ships with a way for your team to see what happened: what synced, what failed, what was retried. Silent failure is the defining sin of bad integrations.

Access & data

How we handle access to your systems

Integration work means touching business-critical systems. These are the rules we work under — stated plainly so your legal and finance people can say yes.

Least-privilege access
We ask for the narrowest API scopes and roles that do the job — read-only wherever possible, staff roles instead of owner access, scoped tokens instead of master keys.
Your accounts, your credentials
Integrations run inside accounts you own. Secrets live in your platform settings and vaults — we don't keep parallel copies of your credentials.
Access ends at handover
Collaborator access is granted at the start and revoked at handover, with a written list of every system we touched so you can verify it yourself.
NDA and DPA, no friction
We'll sign your NDA before seeing anything sensitive, and a data-processing agreement where your data is in scope. GDPR-aware handling is the default, not an add-on.
Continuity by design
Runbooks, documentation, and full code ownership mean any competent developer can operate or take over what we build. The work never depends on us staying reachable.

Is the platform itself part of the problem?

Integrations often surface deeper issues in the store or site they connect to. We build and repair both sides: Shopify storefronts and WordPress/WooCommerce sites are our other two core services.

FAQ

API, Automation & AI Integration: frequently asked

Our systems don't have an off-the-shelf connector. Is that a problem?

No — that's the normal starting point for custom integration work. If both systems have an API (and almost everything does now), they can be connected. If one genuinely has no API, there are still options — file-based exchange, database-level sync, or automation against its interface — each with trade-offs we'll lay out honestly.

What's wrong with just using Zapier or Make?

Often nothing — for low volume and simple mappings, we'll actually recommend them. They become the wrong tool when volume grows, when failures need retries and reconciliation, when field logic gets complex, or when per-task pricing starts exceeding the cost of owning the integration. That's the point where owning the integration beats renting it.

How do you handle API failures and downtime?

By assuming them from the start. Integrations are built with queues, retries with backoff, idempotency keys so retried operations don't duplicate records, and alerting when something needs a human. The goal is that a provider outage means a delay, never lost or doubled data.

Can AI actually save my business time, or is it hype?

Sometimes it genuinely can — and sometimes the honest answer is a simpler automation. The good fits are high-volume, repetitive text work your team does by hand: reading supplier emails and invoices, drafting product descriptions, triaging support messages, pulling structured data out of documents. We build these as ordinary integrations with a human review step wherever the stakes are high, and we'll tell you plainly when AI is the wrong tool for your problem.

Do we need to understand LLMs or 'AI agents' to work with you?

No. You describe the task in business terms — 'someone spends every morning copying order details out of emails' — and we work out whether AI, a plain automation, or an off-the-shelf tool solves it best, and what it will cost to run. You approve outcomes and budgets, not model choices.

What do API integration services cost?

A single well-defined connection (store to accounting, say) is a low-to-mid four-figure (USD) fixed-price project in most cases. Multi-system orchestration is larger. Ongoing monitoring and maintenance runs from $150/month with a stated response time, as a flat arrangement you can cancel anytime. Scope and price are always written down before work starts.

Who owns the integration afterwards?

You do: the code, the accounts it runs under, and the documentation. Integrations are delivered with runbooks — what it does, how to see its status, what to do when a provider changes their API. No black boxes that only we can operate.
